Leslye Harrell

Leslye Harrell, Product Manager at Vector Solutions, brings her 13 years of experience at Hendricks County Communications to lead the strategy and development of continuing education and online training programs designed specifically for public safety professionals.

She spends her time in her role partnering with subject-matter experts, instructional designers, and technology teams to ensure training courses are not only compliant and effective but also practical and rooted in the real-world demands of public safety.

Over the course of her career, Harrell worked as a 911 Call taker and Dispatcher and later advanced into leadership and training-focused roles, including Instructor, Shift Supervisor, NCIC Coordinator, and Communications Training Officer. This path has given her an end-to-end understanding of emergency communications, from frontline call handling to quality assurance and workforce development.

This first-hand experience gives her a unique perspective in her role today, understanding what public safety professionals really need to be successful day-to-day, and brings this to her position as Product Manager. Her approach to her work emphasizes relevance, usability, and other scenario-based learning experiences that resonate with adult learners. She holds a master’s degree in Instructional Design, allowing her to blend adult learning theory with hands-on operational knowledge.
