LiveSafe Technical Overview

Extend reach, increase engagement, and streamline workflows by integrating your existing systems with a carefully constructed platform.

Vector LiveSafe Integrations & Capabilities

Vector LiveSafe is highly available and scalable to easily and seamlessly integrate with the investments that clients have already made with no incremental hardware or headcount investment.

Enable safety within existing mobile apps

Vector LiveSafe Mobile SDK allows you to embed essential LiveSafe functions into any mobile app; no need to download the LiveSafe Mobile App. Lowering the number of apps to download helps vastly extend your reach and increase engagement.

Anyone is able to receive broadcast messages, and engage in two-way chat with security. Tips can always be submitted anonymously, or share location details during emergencies.

Both LiveSafe Mobile SDK and the Vector LiveSafe Mobile App use less than 20MB of memory, and access the cloud-based dashboard via Internet.

Partnered with industry leading solutions

The Vector LiveSafe Workday Connector automatically imports and syncs contact information from Workday HCM. With this connection, you can instantly establish full workforce coverage for security teams. Employees do not have to download the Vector LiveSafe app to receive broadcast messages.

Setup is quick and easy, with no custom development required.

Connect the dots in real-time with existing systems

Vector LiveSafe can automatically transmit reported security tips to any internal applications with webhooks. Feed data into any platform of choice to integrate with existing systems and workflows.

With SCIM integration, automate user management and keep Vector LiveSafe in sync with identify management, AD and HR systems. Contact information syncs on a daily basis and allows broadcast messages to reach users who have not downloaded Vector LiveSafe.

Ensure clear communication with RSS feeds

Ingest and transmit rich content through RSS feeds for messaging redundancy when it matters most. Bi-directional messaging redundancy helps keep everyone in the know for coordinated response to critical events.

External RSS feeds can be used to deliver notifications to Vector LiveSafe App users.

High capacity, secure infrastructure

The Vector LiveSafe platform is housed in a virtual private cloud (VPC) within Amazon Web Services' infrastructure for architectural redundancy. This enables Vector LiveSafe to reliably handle massive volumes of communication in the event of a large-scale incident.

All data is encrypted using industry standard HTTPS/TLS and personal data is protected using high-speed row level encryption.

Access to the database can be protected via SSO logins from a company intranet and require a 4-digit pin, set by the organization, before gaining access.

Organizations can even require a verified email from organization owned domains to prevent outside users from gaining unauthorized access.
